I didn't get as many photos as I had hoped since I was putting on torque rods and racing, but here's a sample of some shots. I know a few other people were out there getting photos and video.

looks equally as bad as that beige 242

That would be my rolling barge :-D That's my fiancee in the passenger's seat holding on for dear life. She had fun. Suspension is stock and 30 years old except for recently replaced balljoints & tie-rod ends. My best time was a 1:19....plus 5 cones. Whoops!

Mike must have taken those pics before I remembered to air up the tires. At 37psi hot they were rolling over halfway up the sidewall. 45psi fixed that.

By the way Mike, nice impromptu caravaning on 99 South yesterday! Later in the day I happened upon a So-Cal guy with a clean '78 GT (don't know his name) and caravaned with him for a few hundred miles. Dave Barton blew past in his 242 as well. These cars must be magnetically attracted to each other.

I'd be curious to see if anyone got pic's of the run I did. I wonder how the body roll compares, given Toby's and mine are on a pretty similar setup...

It was nice to see another car that looks normal in pictures, but is gross to touch like my car. it does what it's supposed to, and it's not there to look pretty. mine is chalky from the spray paint, plus semi-moldy from the lack of paint smoothness.

I'm just waiting for my car to be stolen and then show up 7 days later on overhaulin

I should note that Scotty got a 1:19 (18+1) on hoosier slicks and I got a 1:18 clean on my street tires in my 83 240 dl.

Also, post autox my 4th gear whines like a banshee. Still trying to figure out the driveshaft slap. It's happening between the support bushing and transmission. Bushing is new.

First autocross I've been to. Don't know about the mirrors, but I noticed that too. Someone will fill us in.
