Classic Swede adjustable struts/shocks

I had the shortened rear shocks and the matching front shocks on my 140. The fronts have held up on the street, and I was able to find a damping setting that worked for my lowering springs. I could never get the rears to damp correctly, and the actually blew out (leaking fluid, no damping for the first part of the stroke) after about 6 months.

Classic Swede told me that they have updated the valving in the rear shocks now, and I am waiting on a set of replacements.

Sorry, I don't have any track experience on them.

For track use and wanting to be competative go for the ready built front coilovers with bump and rebound adjustment http://www.classicswede.co.uk/200_series_front_coil_over_struts/p1733344_12331092.aspx

for the rear the double adjustable with a control knob each for bump and rebound is worth the upgrade http://www.classicswede.co.uk/Race_...Pair_240___260_140_164/p1733344_16398814.aspx

If you are just more so for a bit of fun on track then your original thoughts would be ok but would most likely want the shorter case version for building coilovers http://www.classicswede.co.uk/-50mm...ampers_-Pair_240___260/p1733344_15352630.aspx

Yes, but the coilovers you recommended for track use. Are they integrated into the coilovers assembly or are they inserts in a strut housing? Based on the pictures, I would assume that they're all part of the assembly but I figured I would ask

they are intergrated into the strut so not really a DIY option. The DC's are DIYable so for DIY its a close call between them and the GAZ inserts
