Default Installing Center Support Backwards (760)

i dont have a bearing puller and really dont want to risk damaging the bearing when pulling it out.

It is a low mileage car but has been sitting quite some time so rust has done a number on the support bracket. So, i was wondering if anyone has installed the center support bushing backwards over the center support bearing and if so, have you had any problems with it walking off of the bearing in either direction or abnormal sounds.

Car is a 1989 Volvo 760 Turbo.

Thanks
