So i was riding with the family to our local Wal-Mart for mother-in-law birthday shopping and what do i see at the entrance alone in the lot? A pristine Volvo 122s!! What a beauty this was, perfect condition, not a mark on it, jet black in color, interior was mint too, the odometer read 30k but that could be 130 or 230, I don't know, I didn't see the owner. To bad picture posting doesn't work now, I got pics of it on my digital.

Brian, about 12 yrs ago I was at the Volvo dealer in Thomaston, CT and there was a trade-in, absolutely mint condition 4,000 mile, black '65 122S that a little old lady bought new at the dealer.
It was on the showroom floor with a $21k price tag. Simply beautiful!! Everything looked as new as it was in 1965. Bet you that was the car! There's not many of them like that around |

I bet you it was, I have never seen it around town (and I notice EVERY volvo I see) and this car was a work of art. I wanted to stick around to meet the owner but the wife wouldn't let me. Thanks Peter
