Default AEM Universal EMS

What are your feelings about the AEM universal EMS? Comes with a lot of goodies including built in dual wideband controllers.....

I really liked the AEM plug'n'play systems, the Universal seems ok, but it's definitely quite expensive and the tuning pretty much needs to be done by someone who sells AEM. Also only has 4 ignition outputs so I didn't even consider it once I found that out.

The dual wideband setup does work very very well though. They have their wideband calibrations (especially if you use the AEM UEGO) really well set up.

yea, they're nice as ****, but where do ya get the universal? all the places that carry the PNP ones dont have a listing for the universal one (summit, etc) and a google search yielded the same ?

It's still pretty new and a lot of the AEM dealers are sketchy about selling it because it is way harder to troubleshoot and provide support for a universal where someone has made their own harness etc.

Alamo and some of the real big AEM dealers list it.
Alamo: http://alamoautosports.chainreaction...?cPath=69_2045

A dealer was selling them on ebay a while back too for a whole lot cheaper than $3200 or whatever rediculous amount retails is. No a friggin chance I'd blow that much dough on it.
