92 940 turbo and manifold for 82 turbo?

I found a low miles 940 in the JY would there be an advantage to run the exhaust manifold and turbo from this car on my 82 kjet turbo? My turbo stil spools pretty good but has some shaft play and would need to be rebuilt/replaced eventually.
