Default Heico Video Nürburgring...

Hopefully not a repost.... I thought it was a pretty cool video.

There is a Heico badged Volvo I see on my way to school, I assumed it was a tuning company but never looked it up.

I think a few of the volvo dealers sell Heico stuff here, but mostly on the styling side of things as far as I know. My local volvo dealer here is a Heico dealer at least.

Very cool video. Wow! Kinda makes me want a C30!

Yup - they make some really nice stuff. Expensive stuff, but really nice. They also have a killer 242 group a replica they built.

Edit: Here's their 242

Someday....someday I will be doing that kind of racing. I need to. I used to race go karts at an amateur level, and I miss it way too much. Someday.....

agreed. I would have been a little disappointed had they not mentioned the 240.

great production quality but was a bit disappointed about the shortage of content from the actual race.

seemed like maybe 40 seconds of footage was actual race footage with the c30 in it?

I agree - I would have liked to see more actual race footage. However I still appreciate the video none the less

Don't know where the link is but someone posted Nurburgring video of the Group A replica racer awhile ago.

If we had some video like that of the 24hr race we ran last weekend it would of been more exiting to watch for sure.

More Nurburgring driving, now with a 240, the 2005 Youngtimer Trophy, driver Martin Müller.

part 1:

(nice Porsche sound in the beginning)

part 2:

Same event, was on tv this:

I have an article about that car somewhere. it is a grp A replica but without the center lock wheels etc, pretty mild suspension, running on Polaris wheels, B23ET iirc. Not as extreme as the original i think.

stuff: http://www.heicosportiv.de/mainframe...136&newsid=223

cool track, really demanding, very tricky. when the weather is not stable you have fog on one stretch, wet track 2 minutes later, dry track etc, makes driving there very hard.
