So it's hit or miss, usually miss, when i try to start the 740.
When it does start: A HORRIBLE cranking noise (almost a grind but more of a screech) occurs until it starts up. When it doesn't start: It just clicks just once, doesn't turn over or anything. I read about the park sensor not engaging, but the click it makes does not occur when trying to start in neutral or drive so i've ruled that out. Only thing i can think of is the starter pinion binding with the ring gear. What do you guys think? |

all the gauge lights come on as they should when the key is turned to "start" as well.

Yes, sounds starter related. Once it starts, no more noise
|
