Default 84 244 will not start

I hear ignition relay clicking. Turn key and nothing. Fuel pump works. Just nothing. Powered to the starter and it worked but didn't engage the motor. Losing ideas. Thinking ignition switch but not sure. Or 84 244 turbo for sale!

Sounds like the solenoid is bad, if its not engaging the flywheel. Your post is a bit confusing to me, but that could be because of the pbr's Ive been drinking and the dynamics homework that is slowly chipping away at my sanity.

It's not the PBR or the dynamics.

*WHICH* "dynamics"??? fluid / thermo / other??

OP...get a TEST LAMP ON THE STARTER *SIGNAL* WIRE (the one you pulled
off to "power up the starter")..have partner in crime cycle IGNITION KEY TO START
POSITION...does the test lamp illuminate?? - if so, check HEAVY WIRE from battery
starter "loose / dirty / shredded connection DIS-ALLOWED here"...if "mains wire from
battery to starter shoes good..replace starter..and drive off SMILIN'!!

and I thought VECTOR ANALYSIS was trouble...(I be TOO old....but I can STILL
whip my K&E slipstick into a fine lather...! )

OP..you are getting tired....you are relaxing...you feel sleepy yet awake...as your eyes
close concentrate on the voice telling you: "Sell the 240 to Lando"...when you awaken
you will feel refreshed and glad that you helped a hopeless Volvonista realize his dream
of a FLEET of Volvos.....three....two....one...AWAKEN!

When you say slipstick, I assume you mean slide rule? I am glad I am young enough that I dont have to use one of these, now there is TI and wolfram alpha.

OP: sorry for the hijack, either test your starter and report back or sell me the 240.
