Phil, Looks like Tomcat's V70R bumper combined with 960 upper section, and custom fabricated grille using plastic welding etc.

That bumper looks like a 960 top and Partial bottom and I think the middle bit is either nissan or similar.. you could probably get a similar effect by building a nice big lip for the bottom of the 960 bumper and you could also just clip it on to replace the standard bottom lip.

MyVolvo asks if they're a direct fit on a 940. Answer: No.

Of course they're a direct fit on a 960/S90/V90. I got them on my own S90.

If they were gonna make a 960 coupe, why didn't they shorten the window more and used 780 doors?

It' started it's life as a 740, built somewhere around 2000. It looked like it was 780 doors, because the pillar had a different angle that the normal 7/9 2-d builds I've seen.

It's nice to see it have survived so well after all these years. Not sure but I think the builder still owns it

It's nice but the shape of that rear window spoils it, also the rear window needs to be smaller as at the moment it looks similar in size to the front window (making you wonder which way the car is facing). Good effort though and I bet it wasn't easy.

I don't agree, it matches the body lines perfectly.

It's perfectly possible to extend the outer skin to fit, it's called a welder, donor skin/metal sheet and a bit of body filler. Very nice piece of fab work there all 'round.
