Default just saying hi!!!

Hey < In still working to finishe the 240 wagon/7mgte . Installed chevy coils/ wires and used the 6 cyl housing and fabricated a bracket to go in the firewall. Chevy coils run cooler for me and they are a dime a dozen in the local pick and pull instead of a pretty penny for the factory toyota ones. Nice videos and Im not looking for 500 ponies yet ,just 300 once all the kinks and glitches are fixed including an oil leak in custom made pan( made one out of a front sump and a mid sump)
Ok chief , keep up the amazing videos !!!

Default ls coils

Hey , well i used waste spark coils. I just used the module and gutted out the electronics, traced the plug wires ( I chose the 4 top ones) and soldered three to the main harness and wired the original coil wires to the plug and of course one of them is 12v power and if you trace it will be the typical pink, or orange at the plug. Haven't tested it yet, but once i used the chevy coil by just poking the wires to the bottom where the spade terminal goes and used chevy wires to plug the spark plug and it worked perfect.
So thats how i know
iti will work and just guessing, trial and error.
I cant post images here but if you want I can send the images to where ever you want.
ok good luck

Been busy at the dragstrip, at the dyno, and in my garage. Sorry for not keeping you guys updated. enjoy!

Time to share some pictures and vidyers! Went to Cleetus and Cars and got mad publicity. Of course the car ran crappy, boost controller went ape, no traction, and t56 pilot bearing locked up. But we had fun, enjoy the pictures and videos below.

Thumbs up Car show, throttle cable fix, burnouts and antilag

Trying to catch up from all of the fun. I helped my son with his harmonic balancer, cant believe oriellys sells them cheap! Also found a issue with throttle cable, took the time to wash out his heat ex changers from road grime. Then i put the driveshaft back in my car. Two flanges were bent, and driveshaft was bent. Then we go for teste drive to see my machine shop friend, and go out to a local hotspot carshow at Klein High school.

Hey guys , I Did alot of work to the head over the past week. If you watch the yt channel Turbo World , or are on Turbo World fb groups or @theturboworld on instagram. You already know she's alive again. .027 headgasket. Shaved block excessively shaved head, and 3 angle valve job.
Wiseco pistons have been in this block almost 5 years, and have eaten a total of 24 valves. All 16 when crank gear broke at redline (7800) . Then the turbo ate airfilter on very spirited drive home.
Then two weeks ago, the crank pulley bolt loosened at idle and all 8 exhaust valves bent before I could turn it off. The cause? I welded the dampener, and left too much of a hole on dampener , on back-for keyway to just spin up and out of entire assembly. So I welded the hole on dampner, loctite entire gear, balancer, bolt, washer. Tightened to hulk spec. Stock torque spec does not apply , nor does it work at these power levels, with parts that are this compromised or aged.
I bought 8 more exhaust valves on ebay and did a full homegrown 3 angle valve job in my garage with a lot of time and little expense, on all 16 valves. Reground with 3 different compounds and a rubber hose on end of valve stem to spin by hand. 3 runs, 3 different compounds, per valve, then 3 more runs when head came back from machine shop, handlapping valves to seats.
I can tell that the compression is indeed higher but will have specific numbers later. Head was warped 8 thou. 10 thou was removed. Iirc it had machined 3 times before!!!
If you think Wiseco pistons aren't worth almost $700 , just go ahead and start from the top of this post and reread what they can endure, and still make 505 wheel. More soon.
