For all you Redblock drivers that use 10W40 or 20W50. Advance Auto Parts is clearing out these oils:

Carquest Full Synthetic High Mileage 10W40 at $2.55/jug.
Castrol GTX High Mileage SynBlend 20W50 at $.75/quart.

Nvm, local AAPs here don’t have the deal.
Out of curiosity, can the 10w40 be used in my car? It sits in storage December through Apr/May when it’s freezing and below.

Last time we did this, I bought a LOT of oil. 30-40 qts. Don't worry about it going bad on the shelf. It will be fine. Yes, you can use this weight oil in your car. I have had no issues with it.

The price of oil has skyrocketed over the years; why, other than corporate greed / price fixing?
