what a cheapest and simpliest to install ECU?

Cheapest and simplest is LH2.4 and an Ostrich. This will let you play with fueling tables. You'll need a chippable EZK if you want to play with ignition tables (all the ECUs are chippable, but most EZKs are not).

A MegaSquirt 2 board with a MS-I CPU chip, or MS-II CPU card would be next (you might also find a used MS 1 board & chip for cheaper). Either one will let you play with a huge number of configuration options. You'll need to rewire the whole engine, or buy an LH-to-MS adapter setup (linuxman51).

For Speeduino (fka cartduino), see: http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=329200

For FreeEMS, see: http://freeems.org/

For rusEfi, see: http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=329490

You could always try LH+Ostrich first and the sell it once you learn about tuning and want something more advanced.

what a aditional sensors i will need to wire and run it on my 940 B230 turbo? with speeduino?

Start reading.

this. If you need to ask those questions a standalone is probably not for you

seriously, look into the ostrich if you want to mess with tables, you don't need to rewire any sensors, the install is as easy as chipping the ecu/ezk

should i start somewhere with standalone ECU's, nope?

Go for a stand alone that offers tons of local support or a great online presence. My vote is megasquirt. Full stand alone for 4-500$ with the whole harness. And there's tons of support and options. If you ask nicely you might find someone on here to build it for you

i think about the support too, i see there is not too much support fot the speeduino yet. so i think the megasquirt will be a better option for me.

what MS you run?
you use a original sensors (except a MAF)

cheapest and simplest that you can tune yourself? lh2.4 with moates ostrich

The above is the cheapest and simplest option.

With a self install / tune ECU project, you need to research and read a LOT on your own. Given Megasquirt 2/3 and Microsquirt has manuals, you will be told to read the manuals before asking any questions.

i think about the support too,

Support is not paid. It is volunteer based, they will tell you to read the manuals.

Microsquirt on my GLH. Coolant, TPS, MAT, are Chrysler. Flex, MAP are GM. Crank sensor is DIY Auto. Knock sensor is BOSCH. Oxygen sensor is BOSCH. I have over $1500 into Microsquirt and related stuff.

Just doing an upgrade from ms1>ms2, gm iat/clt, volvo 850 tps, no maf. Going sequential cop, has fan control, idle control, water injection control, launch/flat shift.

Microsquirts have a few less I/o capabilities and have a few other quirks. Do your research. I'd prefer a ms2v3.0 just for the ability to easily customize your own ecu

How is that? A micro is 340$ and an ms2 is 330 with a harness or 280 without. Easier to tune if you know the inner workings of your ecu. Plus the micro needs an external map sensor, ms2 doesn't.
