2nd 2.933 3rd 2.153 4th 1.678 5th 1.390 6th 1.203 7th 1.000 Final 3.72 Current final drive is too high, 3.15 would be optimal but hard to find. Just bought 3.31 which I am going to swap during winter if I dont do the Ford 9" swap. |

![]() Interesting. The direct top gear is a common BMW thing I guess. I think some of the older Getrag manual boxes in BMWs used to be the same way also.
3.08 gears are common in the Ford 8.8 axles IIRC so that might be an easy way to go. Very impressive build, and beautiful work all around! |
