1985 Caprice Classic - 300 bucks running (4.3 V6 so 'walking' is more appropriate) with cold air. Sold later in barely-running condition for 500 bucks. It broke down about a mile from my house - Hey, it wasn't "for sale", they came and asked to buy it and came up with the price.
1988 745TI - $550. SAM rear spoiler, 16x8 dished RH rims/adapters, intrax springs, IPD Sways, 3" after-DP exhaust, Blau stereo w/sub, 2 gauge pillar pod w/boost/AFR and more. Dude thought the trans was blown - needed a tailshaft housing and gasket.
1985 745 Diesel - $100 parts car. Had been converted to V8, bought with no motor. Black leather interior was perfect. Body/lights everything else, perfect. Dash, seats and aluminum hood are part of the 88 above, the rest of the interior is in sweetswede's 91 754SE. Sold to scrapper for 50 bucks and still had lots of goodies on/in it.
1990 745TI - $500 bucks (well $550 if you count the A cam that I bought at the same time). Cherry red (but faded at time of purchase), great black interior (not perfect, but great), 15g, 95 squirter motor. Ran like crap when I bought it. Found some plugs were misplugged, Temp sensor in head was bad replaced those and drove it a few k miles. Still didn't run great... turns out it had a bad injector so I had dirven it on 3cyls for a long time.
Now has IPD sways too - 25 bucks at Pull-A-Part!
1996 960 - $1000... Not my greatest score but I had talked them down from 1500. Had a bad intake manifold gasket - I knew this but played dumb (is that wrong to do when buying a car?). Drove it home. Body isn't perfect but it's great for the wife/daughter to tool around in without me worrying.
855 Turbo - I got boned so I was due some good deals on the above cars.
