Default Playing in the dirt with a free car

Saturday I entered my first SCCA RallyX with my beater 1985 245. Chalkboard hood, roof rack, plenty of rust were all on the "racecar". It was a blast, and came first in my class, stock RWD. I scraped off a buttcheek and had to repair the car mid runs. My first 4 runs dropped by 2 seconds each time too, so I was learning how to drive it too. Most fun you can have for $45 on a Saturday.

True rally style repair

^ You can see the butt cheek hanging off

mtd240: I suspect "the wives" have a super-secret forum to discuss whether or not they will let us buy Volvo parts.
DavidSamuels: Not a website, a panel discussion/reality show. Real Housewives of Gothenburg.

The most fun. I'm waiting for the results to be posted and I need to edit he in car video. Although I don't think the video came out all that great.

It was. I watched a few races on youtube and looked up motorsport reg and I HAD to sign up. I'm so glad I did. It was worth all the time and money and sweat. Normally I regret a lot of impluse decisions but not this one.

That looks awesome. I really want to go do this but not in the mud like last time. If I remove my strut tower brace they count my car as stock too.

Car looks great in the dirt!
You might want to take off the rack in case you end up rolling it
