Default 4 bar fpr...

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but when I was researching this mod I didn't see many decent pics so...

http://i763.photobucket.com/albums/x...719_122939.jpg

Stock Volvo 3 bar fpr from my '95 940 on the left, 4 bar fpr from a Dodge Omni 2.2 turbo on the right. Bumps fuel rail pressure from 44psi to 55psi according to the specs. Car does seem a bit happier, I'm running stock everything else except 3" downpipe & exhaust and manual boost controller at 15psi.

Raising the pressure to 4 bar lowers the flow capacity of the fuel system. Did you need more fuel or was this just for fun?

@ Athlon - This was done in anticipation of mods I hope to finish in the next two weeks. I've got a tdo4hl-16t and a 255lph Walbro pump sitting in my office that I hope to install soon. I also picked up an AEM wideband that will go in when I remake the end of the 3" downpipe to fit the dp flange for the new turbo, (I'll weld the extra o2 bung in then). Not a lot of pics yet but here's a link to the photobucket album of what I do have.

The only problem I see is that the pumps flow capacity is diminished as the pressure rises. If the wastegate is set for 15, that puts you at 70psi at the rail. Install the wideband and take a look at the numbers at full boost.
