240 HIDs

Anyone ever convert their 86+ 240 to HIDs? Just wondering if it was a worthy upgrade.

Also wondering if HIDs would work with ecodes. Might be a stupid question but I'm a 122/700/900 guy....the 200 experience is all new to me. :)

That's one way to make friends with those coming towards you...;-)

Ever looked at the light pattern that comes from those lights? Pretty much just a big spray everywhere. Not exactly what you want with HID lights...
 
The biggest difference I saw when we went ecodes on our 240 was some trees on a curve I passed alot at night coming home from work. With the US "big screens" (LOL) they lit up the whole tree - 3/4 to the tops. After ecodes, it hit low and wide.....probably no higher than 4ft up....and I RARELY got flashed if I didn't dim them in time for oncoming traffic.

I used Silverstars in the ecodes....they aren't HIDs, but I like them just fine.
