Mr.Borrie's S90

Haha that's awesome man! I would go broke if I lived near the Nurburgring. That's all I would ever do.... ever.

Its a 5 hour drive for me so not completely around the corner. But when i do go its fun!

Nice! How's a big heavy s90 on the track? :p

I did only one lap because you don't have the power from the automatic when you need it, when it does deliver power you almost end up in the wall.
The handeling of the S90 is not bad and the power is good if it would have a manual. But for the purpose i bought the car (Daily) this was a fun trip on the side i would not have wanted to skip

Put the winter wheels on, just in time too.. getting cold here!

Replaced the rear brakepads and did a general check for the APK/MOT. Also made a sticker that the car can now proudly wear after the visit to the ring

Still going strong, the car already aided in picking up new bed and many parts. My GF also got her licence and as expected made her first damage on the car.

I tried to "fix" it but i will be looking for a new bumper or i'll get color coded paint made, this was pretty close for coming straight from the store and it at least covered up the white scratch. I did not have clear coat so it dried matt not gloss. Might retry it again when i have some time with clear coat to see if the color will match better. but i think the color shade is just a little too much off with this one.

Been driving this car well over a year now. Drives smooth, has nice sunroof and cold A/C.
But still, I'm starting to think I need to replace the S90 for something cheaper. (its around 2000 euro in insurance and road tax alone)

I had some changes in my life that trigger this

* bought a house
* changed job "no longer going to customers"
* house is now closer to work (around 15-20 min drive VS the 1+ hour drive I used to have)

Getting a car that weight less like a 940 could already cut the costs in 2, but maybe I need to look around for something else. Or maybe I'll just keep driving the S90 till something breaks.

Been doing some fun stuff with the S90, also installed new Falken FK tires :D

I had some trouble with the LPG system, had the ECU replaced ($$$) and a few months later another part failed.
I decided i wanted to get a new LPG system or pull the LPG and use petrol (lower tax rate)

After LONG debating i pulled the LPG and had the plate changed to petrol, saving the money of the LPG system to put into an estate with LPG already in it 2e hand.

What system was in there and what was really the problem? I hardly see any problems with the LPG systems themselves. Usually it's bad wiring (or grounds) or broken solenoids.

If my old 960 was a wagon I'd still be driving it. Great car. Keep in mind all the FWD wheels fit on this car with no mods....
