Thats a nice kit, I run one on my buick set up, nice guy to deal with knows his crap.

Wow, looks like a major overhaul!

I am sure it'll be cool, but man I hate to say it but that cage is not healthy. Looks like 2-3" of daylight between the main hoop and the B pillars, and no real bracing at the forward/rear stays.

It's probably fine and maybe I am just particular, but that thing lacks several key characteristics I would insist upon in a cage, personally.
 
yeah dont some guys use jacks while welding it in to get it as tight as possible to the stock frame/pillars?

I had an interesting compliment, or a dig the other day when I was at the dyno shop. Im not sure what you call it. But A subaru owner came up to me and asked if I was building a Volvette. I was a little offguard to respond to that, and just said there is no Vette about my Volvo. But Im always amazed. Your car is known everywhere. Thats pretty cool. Id drive it.

yeh, that's where any animosity I have comes from. Definitely an awesome car, I just loath the idea of someone coming up to me and asking if I'm copying the Volvette.

where are the skate board decks going?:-D
