![]() I am having great difficulty replacing the wiper shaft sealing grommet on my 1989 Volvo 240 dl. Could some one help me with the correct installation method? Much Thanks!

![]() I just did this a few days ago. I put a tiny bit of grease on it and popped it in. It was awkward laying on my back with the seat still in but it went in easily.
Is the wiper motor still in? The way the new seal fits over the motor it would probably be easier to put the seal in then the motor.

![]() Are you replacing the grommet that the motor shaft goes through, or that the wiper arm shaft goes through?
