![]() Is there a difference between a turbo and non turbo distributor? I purchased 2 distributors and neither one worked for my 1989 740 turbo but when I took out the distributor to my 760 turbo, the 740 started right up and the new distributors did not work in the 760.

![]() No. There is no difference between the two, turbo versus non-turbo. It sounds like you got a couple of bad distributors.

![]() I purchased a new LH 2.2 distributor for my 740. The key on the back was 180 degress off. Maybe your new one is the same.

![]() Make sure the distributors have the Hall sensors for LH2.2.
