Default 240 / 7mgte swap

Hi guys, I here doing this again after my wife disconnected the computer and erased all the info I had typed. I am new to the bricks. I am a a Toyota fan, but I always wanted a Volvo wagon since I saw one back in the 80's. Finally I got one in a great deal with the exterior( red) color I wanted and the black upholstery I wanted. I got it back in September and I've been working on it on spare time after work. I have already pulled the engine and trans out of it. I had to put the cressy to sleep due to the fact it rusted beyond my budget and parts are practically impossible to get. One day after work I glanced at a 240 and the LED lit, Why not a 7mgte -240 combo? the engine only has 9k, yes 9,000 only since I rebuilt it.
Also I am changing the lug pattern for 5-114 to fit some 17 inch Maxima wheels.
I was blessed to find a supra in the local junk yard. The cressy hump is a front one and does not fit. The supra is mid hump and easier to make it work in the 240 chassis.

Do it. Post lots of pics. I'm a closeted Toyota fan and straight sixes are my favorite swaps in the 240. Plenty of rear sump 1JZ's floating around for cheap also.

I don't think I've ever personally seen an M engine swap, but plenty of threads on JZ series.

Hi guys ,Finally I got the pan welded, scraped and painted including sealing the pin holes with solder for a waterproof tight seal.
Here are some pictures. ( it is taking longer than usual due to being tired after work and hardly acces to the shop with no remote. I have to depend on the painter to be at the shop because he is rebuilding a studebaker. https://s20.postimg.org/ppvhv2wv1/20161204_120503.jpg

Hi guys , I got the engine and trans in already, although is a mock, because I have to pull it out again to put in the clutch.
Now I encountered a problem. The brake booster interferes with the intake manifold. I need to cut down the lower support to clear the hood, still I need to figure something out with the booster, Any ideas you guys can come up with?
thanks

I love the sound of a 7mgte,can only imagine one in a 240 best of both worlds really.

Wow !!!! thanks guys for the help.
I went today and removed the engine again to redo the oil pan. It does not clear the hood. I will have to recut and re weld again and add an extra bump towards the rear for more oil due to the fact that the 7mgte needs plenty of oil with the turbo and squirters and also I will possibly be cutting some of the center support as well as trimming the rack and pinion.I got some more metal scrap from work today for free to use it in the center support and the motor mounts. I gotta find out how much is the booster and if the one on the 740 fits. Another predicament is the heater core upper outlet. It is in the way o the egr valve. I might have to solder a 90 degree elbow and extend it either sideways or upwards. Gee it is a lot of work and my wife is not too happy. Again thanks a million guys or your support.

I have a couple of 16V thin boosters if you ever need one.
