245 overloads on a 145

Thinking about putting a pair of 245 overload springs in the rear of my 145. Will they raise the rear, or just make things stiffer for heavy loads?

They'll raise it about an inch yes.

245 springs would be a better choice ride quality wise if you're not carrying crushing loads.

All of the above and cheapest would be the MOOG overloads that everybody's selling now, and snip a bit at the dead coils until it has 5/8" of rake.

Will need spring 240 upper spring mounts in early 140s.... maybe all the years I don’t remember

1974 uses the 240 style but they're very low profile.
