Default French 945 turbo

Hi TBrickers,

I'm back with a good old brick !

100% stock right now, currently trying to do a complete stage 0. Car is a late 1997 (model 1998, the lastest year for european 940 !), with ECC, AW71L, 135hp B230FK (FT with 4 psi of boost). Complete bargain, I was the first to call, only 158.000 km (99.000 miles) on it, 2 previous owners. Complete papers, including all records and factory order...

Options : headlight wipers, glass electric sunroof, cruise control, rear electric windows, central locking remote control.
Accessories : hard plastics & textile floor mats, trunk OEM mat.

I've found a child seat cushion at the only junkyard who kept some Volvos here, for only 5 € / $ ! My 2 years old son love it.

More pics to come, if someone's interested.

Regards from France, sorry for my english.

That's what I thought. We never got that in the US on 940s. Nice. US market 740s had that option available.

J'ai pour l'instant gardé la plaque d'origine, la voiture était sur Lyon, dans l'est. J'habite dans l'ouest, ā Angers !

How can I move this thread to "projects and restorations" ?

Current setup, received an eggcrate grill from another Tbricker, modded with my old chromed one :

Some cleaning with Polytrol on bumpers, and fitted a Swedish BSR 2.5" catback exhaust :

With information found here on the board, kickdown cable is perfectly adjusted. AW71L working like it should, quiet and smooth !

Searching for parts... near Rogny-les-Sept-Ecluses :

No luck this time, leather interior announced as "pristine" was pretty bad looking...

Lower chassis brace found on this car at the junkyard :
