Default Possible to block someone, so you can't see their new Threads?

If you block someone, their posts are invisible. You still see their name and a message that says something like "this user's posts are hidden".

That's great, but I'm wondering if there's a way to make someone's threads not appear on the forum page. More specifically, any way to hide a seller who keeps posting wheels for trade in New York?

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=327007

If not, that's OK. Just asking if there's a setting somewhere that I haven't found.

LOL

It's not a big deal or anything, just annoying. Especially now that the dude is energized by all of his negative publicity on here, and bumping his threads more frequently.
I can ignore it the old fashioned way just fine, but it'd be cool if there was a way to make it completely disappear..

That helps explain his surge of bumps for FWD Volvo parts on here.

This guy is making me think that the 1X per day rule is too generous. 1X per week bump max might be more appropriate? Seems like that's what most people do anyhow.

Seems reasonable. If it doesn't move in 10 weeks, it's not going to.

That's not true, it just means nobody needs it yet.

Then make another thread. Bump once weekly and move on.

IMO, only donators should be able to sell.

But I'm derailing. Apologies to the OP.

He won't consolidate into one thread, he's got 20 posts of ttt per thread...

I pulled the short stick at work have nothing to do but babysit reactors and 20L rotavaps for the next 2 months. I buy y'all's parts to pass the time, I'm gonna snap if I see more unshippable rimps...

Isn't there a rule about listing multiple items in one thread?

He currently has six threads in Market, and usually bumps each of them every day.

How about having him consolidate all his threads in both For Sale and Market into one thread in each and let him bump those two threads once each per day?

Let him choose the thread title and put all his ads into that one thread.
Then, he can add/delete items within that thread as they sell, or he has a new item that he is selling.

Or, we could hold a contest to see who could come up with the best thread title for him?

Do his posts still show up in the threads?

What I really want is to be notified as soon as he bumps one of his threads so I can go bump someone else's thread over his.
But, I don't really want that many notifications every day!! :-)
