Davis 2014 show, feel free to add pics

Went this morning for a few hours, saw Ken (redwood chair) , meet Jack from Oroville and also meet and talked to Asher from Oregon (all nice guys by the way)

I bought a few parts from Jack...but for me, the info I got from talking to Asher and Jack was well worth the trip, glad I went!

I had so much fun! It was such a damn pleasure to see everyone again and to meet a lot of new people. I even got to drive this year.

I was there all day, met and talked to a bunch of cool people. I wish I knew the screen names of the people I was talking to so I could put some faces to names.

55superbeetle we talked a little and it was great meeting you! Next year I think I am going to take the wagon, hibachi grill, cooler of soda and have a full day of tailgating. You and Redwood chair seemed to have the best program going out there today. Trying to make sure that the wife and kids have fun too means that it won't be fun for anyone. My second oldest just told me that the car show was boring.......

I only go to wave as you let me, the wife, Gwen and my kid cross in front of you on the way out. I totally wanted to pick your brain about your coilover setup with the 8.8 (if that's done yet).

Joel...you lucked out. No furthest travelled award so we'll let you skate by this time and not provide us the video of you making driving sounds while holding the steering wheel on the flight out...

Ah yes, I remember. The suspension is done and is working like it should. I think I used up 90% of my drag radials adjusting and testing all my new stuff

That's why I love this show, I'm not really a car show guy but that place is awesome and the park/food definitely kept the wife and kid happy. Trying to get my daughter into it in early. She loves playing in my shop while I'm working on stuff and it would break my heart if she grows out of that.
