Hey!
The fuel sender on my 740 (B200e) decided to die, but luckily I have a spare at my house. The problem is that it is in pieces. Here is a picture of the units for a start(white is the new one).
The first problem is that the fuel pump electric wires are not there and I dont think there is a way to tell which is ground and which is plus(the wires on the other side are not that visible either):
Does that matter? Is there a way to test without breaking the pump?
Then the other problem is that the wires in the old pump had these weird thicker spots on them:
The thing is that I did not want to reuse them in the new setup, because the are pretty worn, but are these wires special? Can i replace them with normal wires?
All help is very much appreciated.
