I have been trying to search for the best junkyard injectors to run on my 1990 740 turbo. Green tops are easy but can I do better? I know brown tops are cool but I never find a ford in the yard with injectors....

Ideas?

Yep they do! But what else are you expecting from the junk yard. get some Delphis off eBay for cheap I got a set of 75lbs off there for like 90 bucks

Got my 65# delphi's new from Racetronix for under $150, love em.

You can always just get a 4-bar FPR and bump your stock ones up for the time being. Stock 804's at 4-bar are about the same as brown tops at 3-bar.

I would suggest new ones but if in a pinch you can get 440 cc injectors from any turbo mk3 supra (86-90). They will work with some tlc. I used to run them. remove resistor pack.

bosch 403 #280 150 403 off crown vics grey tops 48 pounders. Reports as high as 420 hp.

3 bar rail Flow rate 55lbs/h @ 100 percent duty cycle wide open. Idle should be somewhere around 1.28 - 1.3 ms

And they're 30 years old, and werent matched very well from the factory because it was a CFI application and not necessary as a QC step.

OP, just buy new ones. Its worth it.
