1977 Volvo 242 project-Ford 302 swap

Found some used Corbeau seats locally in pretty decent condition. Also, started making new door card backers, as the originals were really water damaged. The 302 block is painted and honed; assembly has begun.

Since the previous owner had cut holes in the door cards for additional speakers, I needed a way to cover up the holes. I decided on carpeting the lower section, and think it turned out nice, almost looks like it could have come that way. I also replaced the elastic in the door pocket, as it was sagging pretty bad.

Finished the passenger side door panel too. A couple before and after shots.

Very tasty work ! Taking notes here !

Thank you!

Bought a stand alone Holley 6.86 Pro Dash. Fits in the stock bezel real nice and clean, on a textured 1/4? thick black plastic sheet.

So close to finishing up this project. Ride height is set, home alignment is done, and brakes are bled. Looking at early March to get her started and road tested.
