Car has been sitting since October pretty much. I drove it like... once or twice. It decided to stop running, no spark.
Got the battery charged back up and went to diagnose it. Found out that the hall effect sensor connector was not fully seated. Clicked it back in and voila, the sumbitch runs stronger than before. It must have been loose before, sometimes it would stumble. Either that or it liked sitting, somehow.
Swapped out the headunit for one that works so now I have music, which is nice.
Ordered up a taillight circuit board since the one on the left is messed up. That should be here tomorrow and then I'll get it popped in.
Then it's time to finally do the title transfer into my name, get it smogged (hopefully) and keep doing at least little things here and there on it.
I've decided I do like the idea of giving it a little lift and leaving it a reliable, slow N/A floaty car. I have enough fun with the speed of the VW and enough problems with having that car low. Having the Volvo raised up and stock will provide a nice contrast to my DD.
More pictures to come!
