I use Rhinoceros for all 3D modeling.
I used it to find out the largest volume enclosures I could use with everything back there.

Then I only modeled the sub enclosure to print some drawings. The shelf enclosures I made as I went (things changed).

Other things from Rhino:

model different spacer thickness to test (3d Printed) before I Had BNE make them.

Door lock Switch adapter for the center panels (3d Printed).

Final looks like this

I also 3d printed the rear shelf holder brackets.

Hard to see in the picture.

And finally,

The supercharger stuff.

Pulleys FTW

Supercharger bracket ver.1. Getting an idea how much space it will require...etc.

I like the power door lock adapter thing. You can make a lot of cool stuff with 3D printing these days.

Oh snap, Rhino 3D! I learned some very basic stuff on it ages ago. That's some awesome work that's going on here.

Nice. I love Rhino. It's simply the best software I have used.
Though it lacks a great layout setup like Revit, Solidworks, or AutoCAD.

I learned it in architecture school. My thesis project below.

Im messing with fusion 360 by autodesk. Purchased from HM works or Solidworks. It's FREE. There is a CAD and CAM side of the program.

Brand new old stock report cluster installed. Everything works, expect the tach. Didn't drive it yet, so speedo is still untested.

Give it voltage and pulses but nothing. Hopefully roger has something that works.

Finally started on the supercharger project.

Starting the bracket:

I 3d printed a 7" version of the pulley for testing... The final pulley will be 6.5"

I didn't clean the 3d print up enough, but its just for test fitting...

Belt tensioner and pulleys on their way. More of the bracket is to come also. That is just the start. It is an old BMW belt I had. I will get a proper length belt when ready. I have all the piping now. The bypass valve is controlled by an electronic vacuum switch. If this bypass sucks like most people say it does, I will probably take it off and use the mini cooper bypass setup. The bracket is made out of left over stuff I had in the garage. I need to get a plasma cutter and band saw. That would make this much easier.

Need to get the fuel system sorted out and should be ready to run

More to follow later.

You should drive it up to Montecito for cars and coffee on the 20th. Lots of Volvos are coming down from SLO.
