Will 235/45 R17 fit on a 1988 740?

I got a good deal on a set of Federal 595 RS semi-slicks, and my Ruff Racing R280's needs some new rubber. They are 17x8" ET25. Have anyone else tried this combo on a 700/900 before?
 
I have 225/45-17 on the front ant 245/45-17 at et12. Slight rubbing under hard cornering or heavy loads. I have not rolled my fenders, but I think that would alleviate my problem. I am -2 coils on front springs with a slight rake. (I don't have stock rear springs.)
