760Ti Camshaft removal

Do I gotta pull the distributor first? :???: I'm just temped to unbolt the bearing caps and see what happens, just not sure that I should or not.

Just check the clearances: (warm engine)
8= .015
7= .011
6= .013
5= .007
4= .011
3= .011
2= .014
1= .013

Though I've never seen one where all were so tight, I'm amazed at how well it runs and the great gas mileage it gets too.

The distributor is bolted to the head and also inserted into the cam, so it won't allow the cam to be removed if it's attached.

you can just unbolt the 2 bolts holding it to the head. i now those 8MM bolts holdnig the dizzycap on are a PITA.
that what i did when i got some shims to tight on my cam install, just undid the dizzy and bearing caps + belt tensioner to let the cam rise a bit to make it wasy to get the shime out
