I was thinking about that for a moment, dosen't make any sense.
What about the panhard bar?
The axle can't "bind" that way because of too stiff torque rod bushings, those bushings are not designed to twist that way anyway.
I smell bull****.
The issue surely might be somewhat over-dramatized. Poly bushes do not completely transform the handling and they do not make it as impossible to put power down to the road as one might be lead to believe by the comments posted here through the years.
However, it is not all poop from the bull. As the axle goes through it motions, it also moves from side to side. This is because of the panhard bar. Also when one side is down and the other up, like when powering out from a corner, the upper and lower links also twist.
None the less, i like them over stock rubber ones. The ovalizing problem of the stock upper rods is easily remedied.
They are certainly not so stiff that the axle would not even move with a floor jack. Not even close.
