So ya, in December, I'll just do a lame ass engine swap, and BAR ref it as a Camaro. I kinda think I'll like V8 POWA more in the wagon...the turbo motor is going into the 1964-****-cali-smog-law car:

It's a real shame that California's SMOG laws are all about revenue generation for CARB, and not about the environment. That's one thing Oregon definitely does right - "Does it blow as clean or cleaner than the original motor?" If yes, it's all good, regardless of the mods or swaps. When I asked about E85 conversion and if there was any paperwork I needed, the manager at my DEQ station said, "Frankly, we don't care if you put a Rat motor in your car, as long as the pipe is clean."

California, the "green" state, however, would miss all of their CARB certification fees.

Why is it so slow? Have you built headers for it? have the hot cams? Done ITB's ( I bet you could do this and build a plenum as such to not raise a huge stink with carb

It still definitely looks awesome though.

I'm with Mike, what's the NA setup? Completely stock, or...?

ported head, 11.5:1 compression, stock manifolds and 2-1 pipe (both of which looks like it isn't particularly restrictive) to 3in with one straight thru muffler and one "turbo" muffler. It's slow because its NA :( . PC cams in it. It's got more powa than stock, sure, but it's still slow as ****.

the t56 is actually still going in the wagon, just behind a crate LS motor!

Are you running your T6 engine on MS2? im looking for some good advice how to get my stock B6304S2 motor running with the COP's... im using MS2 extra v3,57. it's not wired in yet... do you know if i can use my "jimstim" to setup the most basic stuff or should i do everything directly from the car?

Best regards
Nybakk

One of my fav wagons around here by far! I was stunned when you popped up and sold the wheels, but I figured you were planning on something better. Have you got the new V8 lump yet? And are you doing something different for wheels now?
