Default Hilux 760 Turbo

Ok, so it's not a Volvo, but it's Volvo powered

This is a Toyota Hilux SR5 '90, with a Volvo B23/B230FT combo under the hood
Running megasquirt 1 with the Error daughterboard, some issues that need attention
Independent front suspension changed out for a Landcruiser 70 solid front axle
Dual R150 gearbox
41" Super swamper IROK tires
Air con pump modified to an aircompressor
Air suspension in the rear, coil springs front

Plenty of other stuff

Very nice! A hilux with a redblock, you can be sure that thing will still be there and running after the apocalypse.

Haha, the redblock (non turbo) was actually a very popular engine to put into the Suzuki Fox/Samurai, converted to 33"-35" tires. Sadly there isn't a lot of turbo volvos in Iceland.

When rebuilding the engine I had to hone cyl no 1 quite a lot so I have a lot of piston wobble there, I'm amazed that it's still running. I have another block I need to get ready and some megasquirt issues to work through, then the truck will be highland ready
