Fixed. Trust me, these noobs with their "howpsicnastocksupprt" threads don't love these cars, & drive them for 20 yrs.

Has anyone ever thought about buying some mirrors off of ebay and drilling holes in their fenders? Yes they have.

Lol welp that reply makes about as much sense as introducing down functioning rust holes to the front of your vintage vehicle

OP have you considered buying a really nice 240? They make a much nicer starting point for putting fender mirrors on. The fenders take to drilling much better than 7/9 series cars.
I'm not a 240 guy. I love them and think they are great but I just prefer the 740s. They are my love

In terms of the trolls on this forum, I've pretty much narrowed it down to 3 people who constantly do all of it and spend a seriously unusual amount of time on this forum...
That being said, as much of a troll someone can be on here, I always wager to bet that if we met in person, we'd still get a long due to the love of the cars.

Also yes, cosmetics is a personal choice for cars

Did you drill holes in your fenders yet?

This thread is about fender mirrors, not feelings. Pls stay on topic and drill holes in your nice fenders

you would lose that wager because you have a 740 and take things too seriously

maybe if you had fender mirrors I would approve

And don't forget to notch your frame rails for a bigger intercooler and radiator that don't fit.

As the OP said, same trolls in nearly every thread. If you give it one second of thought, I bet you all can come up with the list of who they are.

OP, I'll weigh in. I don't like the fender mirror trend. There were several Volvos at the IPD meet last year sporting this mod and I thought they looked out of place. To each his own. Back in the 70's reflector tape was the fad. I'll bet redwood chair remembers that era. Neon pink or green colored wiper arms were next. It looked idiotic then and still would today.

To the OP, do whatever you want man. The old Volvos (especially 7/9s) are pretty worthless do whatever you want in keeping them kewl and on the road.
