[QUOTE=1983volvo245;3744843]wet sand time

Looks good! If I may make a suggestion, you definitely need a buffer for this and and not a random orbital. A foam polishing pad and Meguiars fine cut cleaner will make it brilliant. It's actually unfortunate that you waxed it, as it will make the polishing process a bit harder. If you need help with this, let me know, as I have all the equipment. All you have to do is pick up the fine cut cleaner at CTC. Did you use 2000 grit?

I'm also wondering what grit you used for wet sanding.

Just make sure the tailgate has a good lock so you don't blow it open when you crank up those woofers.

i washed, (i removed the alum. slash on the grill) gave it a light scuff with steel wool, wiped down with paint thinner and let them dry, masked off the trims, painted, polished the grill slash and added some 3M chrome trim to the top and bottom of the grill
