Question Gauge Cluster Doesn’t Work Except Blinkers

Several days ago my gauge cluster went out in my 1993 240. At first I thought it might be the cluster or the wiring but the blinker lights still work. None of the gauges or warning lights work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or what may be causing it? Thanks.

I had some wacky stuff going on with my cluster and the turn signals would stay illuminated constantly. Turned out one of the female connectors for the ground was not making good contact. I just closed up the round connector with a pair of tweezers and it solved my problems. I'd check the female connectors for looseness.

There is a voltage regulator that can go on the back of the clusters, but this feels like a loose connection. Start jiggling wires and seeing if the cluster comes back to life.

I would start with fuse 12. It supplies power to the cluster. If it is a pot metal fuse I recommend getting the copper and brass fuses.
