If I use the post quick reply it takes like 30 sec or so. If I use the normal reply then it's way faster than quick reply.
Someone solder the wrong capacitor in somewhere?

Because in this thread, it works really fast and doesn't double post.

In huge threads like the 'politics' thread, it takes forever and is more likely to double post than not.

the quick reply function is an Ajax feature.. its doing a lot of 'talking' with your browser rather than the server.
