Wrapping manifold

yes.

It's gonna be a pain to wrap it since the runners aren't very long and there's not much space between them, but it's definitely worth the time.
 
You can't really wrap the collector area where it usually cracks, so it's just the runners you're wrapping. 1 and 4 are easy. 2 and 3 not so much. get the narrow heat wrap if you do it, it will fit better around the curves in 2 and 3. I think mine was 1", 1/2" wide would have worked better.

I don't know if there was any performance increase. I was going for cooler under hood temps. I've still got work to do, but the turbo system isn't quite trouble free yet so I haven't finished wrapping and shielding yet to know if it made a noticeable difference.
