945 D24TIC, 940 with 740 US front

In november 2018 I figured, that a D24TIC was necessary, and so my search for one started. After asking around no one in my country seemed to know about one, so I bought one from germany. It was quite far away, but to me it was worth it.

"The Volvo has been standing in my yard for some time, because the thread of a injector leaked and thus, the car ran rough" the owner said. I instantly fell in love with it and bought it sight unseen.
The next weekend me and my dad left at 4am to drive the 500km to the Volvo. I will let the pics talk now

Really wish we had these in Canada. Turbo diesel wagon with a manual trans sounds like a dream to me.

Hold on, I?m writing the 2nd big post

It stood around at my garage for some time, looking all sad. Then, a few days ago I watched some straight piped D24s on yt and this motivated me, aswell as my friend telling me that he would like to participate in the Volvo600 world record. So I still have 39 days to get a car, which I never heard running street legal.
Challenge accepted!

One evening I tore apart a 744 16v, which I bought as a front and door donor

My idea is to turn the 940 into a 740. Why? Because I werent able to find a 745 D24TIC and the 940 has a sunroof, back interior and is a manual.


We had some problems with the 940, because there was a mouse living and nesting in it, so it stinks awful. The mouse was now asked to move which she did!
