Can anyone shortcut me to what sizes were available for 240 driveshaft center support bearings? I'm putting a 740 carrier in my 242 and had 3 different bearings none of which fit.

I measured ~45mm near the inner race of the existing bearing on the car, but everything I pull up on eeuro states 50.8mm shaft. It's a T5 swapped car and I believe the front half of the driveshaft would have been from an m47 car?

On the 2xx cars, the V6 models and wagons had the larger (50.8mm) carrier bearing and the 4 cyl sedans had the smaller (44.5mm) carrier bearing. Not sure if that helps, though. 100% go with what you measure vs what a parts site tells you. I think they even tell you to verify fitment on your vehicle (another way of saying that even they aren't sure if it fits)

derp, the "50.8mm" shaft bearing actually has an ID of 45mm.

Credit to FCP who actually puts that information in the item description.
