Default 16V plus 3 inch exhaust on 240 - good muffler recommendations ?

I have always liked Magnaflow.

do I need one or two?
what have you used?
route under axle ?

what size and offset do I need ? will be taking it to exhaust shop

Thanks

Offset magnaflow in the stock location.
If a turbo, the straight through perforated one will be fine.
If NA, the “turbo” muffler will quiet it down well but still allow for some rumbles.

Dynomax super turbo.

Have the inlet and outlet both offset opposite of each other, and 3”.
Basically what’s in the kit Harlard posted.

Harlard and I did a mini GB on a pair of those JT Tuning exhausts. It was ~$350/ea for the turbo kit.

They don’t appear to have stock on there 3” turbo exhaust systems but they do let you added to the cart.
Curious if they get more stock once an order is placed as I too am looking for a similar solution.

if you're NA, 3in exhaust on a 16v is going to sound REEAALLY bad unless you have multiple mufflaz on there. Might away

I run the dynomax 21" glass pack on my 242 and it rocks. Sound level-wise it'd probably be fine on a 16v, but I can't tell you how to make one of those things sound good.
