Hi All!
I had an idea I wanted to run by you and see what ideas you had.
From my VW days, the VR6 cars have a small electric waterpump that runs when the vehicle is shut off and continues to run until a temp sensor signals that it is below its threshhold (180 deg or smth)
I like this system as it allows the vehicle to cool down in a controlled environment and reduces stress on the overall system.
My thoughts on where to install it in a turbo redblock vehicle is inline with the feed to the heater core, since it does not see constant flow and would not restrict the overall cooling system. The problem with that is unless the heater valve is opened it wont flow and water.
Any ideas?
