4/27-28/2013 - Davis 2013

i'll be cruising along with justin from golden gate vcoa so hopefully he has alot of your contacts so maybe we can set up a drive/cruise after or anyone who is doing after parties and hotel gigs let me know, but obviously i'll be doing my research in a bit

We love all our SoCal neighbors coming up! There are a lot of you already coming and pre-registered.

Don't know if anyone heard but we increased our event venue size to almost double. The prizes and swag should be awesome!

Get a ride with someone! How can you miss this year? :( I heard that Volvo themselves may even make a surprise visit. I have never mentioned it until now and prefer not to spread the word as its more fun to have it be a shocker when it happens. Sorry you cant get up here but truthfully offer to trade a bunch of raffle tickets for a ride. If they win one of the THOUSANDS $$$$ in prizes then they won't care about gas money.

PS: The more people we get this year the better for the next 5 years as we try to turn this into the largest Volvo vintage and modified car show in the west or anywhere in the US! This is year one of my 5 year plan and this years attendance is soooo important to get the things we want for next year. Anyone need to borrow my S60R? JK. (Not as desirable because not a brick?) haha
 
We just got off the phone with IPD and they are not messin around this year, they just added $$$$ in swag, if your not at the event to to get in on this I'd have to your are missing out, it's their 50th B-Day and they are bringing it!!
 
I haven't read ANY of these threads yet, but I may not be able to make it this year... Or, if I do, I need to get a car put together for it soon and I won't be able to take Friday off so I can bomb down early.

Who else is coming from up north? Can someone maybe bring some wheels down for me?

IPD is coming and many more from Oregon. Check the different forums. If I were up there I might even take a short plane ride just for the chance to see the cars and win the serious large amounts of SWAG! In fact I would try plane, train, auto (depending on model) or hitchhike :) lol
We truly wish everyone can come this year! I don't have time to get my car the way I want but would come even if I had to spray paint my car (lol) You get the point :) PLEASE find a way because its a while new level of show!

I know because I just wrote a check for almost $1200 for trophies etc. and last week I wrote a check for almost $1K in lanyards and stickers etc.! GGVCOA is hoping to break even as we are going ALL OUT! However, how many times does one see a 15th, 30th, and 50th Anniversary in one?! (Davis, VCOA, IPD) Plus everyone can blame the crazy spending on the "new guy" (ME- Justin Lee President GGVCOA)

I know some of you have mentioned that you could not take the Polestar Tune so how about the IPD tune below?!!!!!
