What oil for m45 4 spd ?

I have used the Redline D4 ATF oil. Very pleased with it. Good cold weather shifting and no singing from the synchros on high rev, fast shifiting when warmed up at heavy load.

Manual says to use Dexron, works fine in my 82.... Just so ya know.

Heres my question though...HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET IT IN THERE?

You have to buy an oil hand pump that works like a giant metal syringe with a hose on the end from under the car. With the drivers side of the car up on a curb so the inlet bung is higher, you unscrew the top of the pump which has the hose attached, pour in the oil, replace the cover, pump in the oil, and repeat until you get the oil full and pouring out of the filler hole.:)

DON"T PUT DELO IN YOUR TRANNY...It won't work so very well.

Maybe Royal Purple, and I'm going to try Redline MTL next time.
