perhaps the wires are grounding out somewhere inside the dizzy? is it an 003 or 004?

perhaps when the dizzy is grounded to block something becomes a problem, so perhaps a short in the dizzy somewhere.

thanks for the input, I will look into this. not sure if its a 003 or 004, how do I tell?
