I am having trouble figuring out how to fix an oil leak. I noticed that after a drive, there was oil on top of my vented oil cap.

I think it's from excess crankcase pressure pushing oil past the fitting seal, but my catch can doesn't have that much oil in it and the lines are clear. Any other ideas why I have so much crankcase pressure? Could poor condition rings let boost pressure by which increases crankcase pressure?

Someone's not paying attention in class. Try attaching a vacuum hose to the top of the catch can from the intake manifold. Vacuum port is already there on the intake.

Put a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the top (outlet) of the can?

From the picture, you can see the outlet of the can is plumbed to the inlet of the turbo, just like the stock vent setup, and like the diagram explains.

I don't think my can is plumbed incorrectly.

I determined the leak was caused by a bad o ring that sealed the AN fitting and excessive crankcase pressure.
